Humanitas is old Roman tradition of seeing education as the vital part of our human nature, our civilisation, our ideals of a virtuous life.

Civitas was the corresponding idea of citizens learning to accept responsibilities and rights that as a nation we all inherit, and hopefully, want the best to be preserved for our children after us!

At Humanitas Civitas we offer tuition in history and philosophy to those families that are homeschooling their children and would like to create partnerships in the pursuit of educational goals for their family. Or equally for those families who reside in remote areas.

We utilise the power of the internet to connect students with a Tutor and the joys of learning about the journeys of humanities past. So although based in the United Kingdom our students are worldwide!

We do not use the internet for social media. There are no links to social media on this site because we choose not to have any! Life is more important and rich, without them.
